I spent my childhood working with my father, who was a master carpenter, and I was blown away with Cristofir’s designs, organization, installations, and final products across the board. Cristofir was very accessible and open throughout the install process. He is a great advisor and gives you honest feedback around materials, subcontractors and costs. He was also extremely flexible and open to re-evaluation throughout the install process. It took about 1 month to get the entire install complete, he managed himself and subcontractors for plumbing, HVAC and electrical. He was great to work with!

We wanted two existing, older half-bookcases, built-ins, extended from where they terminated at mid wall down to the floor. We hoped to get this executed as seamlessly as possible, since they are in the living room. Mr. Bradley was able to integrate the new, lower halves with the existing upper halves. One cannot tell that there have been extensions or that the bottom half of each bookcase is 50 years' newer than the top. They look perfect.
Although the quality of the wood used and of the work itself was high, our specifications to Mr. Bradley included adjustable - not fixed - shelves. This specification, combined with the high number of quite heavy books we confess we put on these shelves, recently caused one of the pins holding a certain shelf to tear out. This happened about 10 months after the original work. We called Mr. Bradley to tell him about this little problem and he came out immediately. He said he would replace the old pins with a more heavy-duty version. Then he noticed that one of these unusually long (46"), unusually heavy-laden shelves had a minor sway. We had never noticed it. Of his own accord, he cut all new shelves -even thicker than the originals- and installed them today along with the new pins, at no additional charge to us.
Needless to say, we were very pleased with Mr. Bradley and the work he did for us.

Working with Cristofir has been a pleasure. He is very professional and responsive (always answering the phone within business hours and calling with updates when necessary). He is also not pushy about ideas that might be expensive. He shows up when he says that he will show up, he works diligently, and then cleans up so well that you wouldn't know that he had been there. His work is also amazing-- with attention to detail. Our job wasn't easy-- modifying an old cabinet to fit file drawers-- and now it is gorgeous!

We are completely impressed with him. I like his professionalism, skills, and his assessment of the problem and his explanation of how he’s going to fix it. He was very honest about that it would be a few weeks before he would be able to unpack his shop and put it in a truck to come out and do work on site. Cristofir Bradley Cabinetry did an amazing job. He was very professional, kind, showed up on time with all the supplies and tools he needed. This was a new project for Cristofir, and he did an amazing job!! He is very proactive and is very attentive to details. He was always on time, never difficult to reach, contacted us promptly if he had concerns/questions, and finished the project ahead of time. Cristofir is full of great ideas, and helped us solve problems with other aspects of this project, and improved on the original plan! Cristofir was very easy to work with, very professional, and the quality of his work is exceptional. The end result was far above what we were hoping for. Cristofir was able to take on a project that he had never done before and produce fantastic results!! He takes pride in his work, and it is evident when looking at the final product. I would highly recommend Cristofir for any cabinetry work, as well as any work related to cabinetry, and wood working. For a completely custom project, I feel that his pricing was very reasonable. Excellent craftsmanship. EXCELLENT JOB. I would HIGHLY recommend him. He came every day and worked 8 hours. When he left each day, you couldn't even tell he was there except for the work he did. No dust, no tools lying around etc.

Cristofir got a callback because of my first experience with him. Cristofir scheduled an appointment early in the morning to accommodate my schedule. He arrived at the appointed time of 7:30 a.m., surveyed what he needed to do and got started immediately. Cristofir possesses excellent "people skills" and does great work at a reasonable price, I think. I have to say that I wouldn't hesitate to give him the key to our home if the situation presented itself. Although, not part of this job, I asked Cristofir to help me with some kitchen remodel planning to which he gave me some great suggestions. I found his suggestions to be very helpful. I plan to use him to install my kitchen cabinets when they arrive.
Without reservation, I recommend Cristofir; you won't be disappointed.

I called to ask if he does jobs like this one or just cabinet making. He said this would be no problem and he came out to estimate the job a day or two later.He was pretty busy so it took a couple of weeks for him to be able to do the job.
He came one more time for a final measurement he needed and that was it.On the morning of the actual job, he and his helper were right on time and got to work right off the bat.The job took about 8 hours and they kept right at it. They actually finished faster that he had originally thought (all in 1 day vs 2). Very squared away. The kitchen looked like nobody had been there
The workmanship is outstanding. Cristofir is a craftsman. No corners are cut.

This was simply an excellent experience working with Cristofir. He responded promptly to my initial phone call. He came to my home, carefully listened to what I wanted custom built and took it upon himself to ask the appropriate questions to ensure his understanding. His attention to detail was first-class. He provided me an accurate, carefully prepared drawing of my piece, then came to my home a second time to review the drawing, confirm measurements and make sure I was satisfied per-construction. He took about two months to build the piece to perfection. He even took the time to put the piece together in his workshop to ensure it was correct and ensure his installation would go flawlessly on site. I now have a high quality, custom bookcase that looks like it has been in my older home for years. Well done...I could not be happier. Cristofir works start to finish on his own and believes he must do all the work himself to ensure top-quality. No question, you will receive top-quality product and service from Cristofir.

Cristofir was a joy to work with. He was punctual, pleasant, knowledgeable, HONEST and thorough . I have never considered leaving a contractor alone in my home. Cristofir seems to get better and more efficient with each project, and always looks for ways to make his work even more elegant, functional and artistic. We have several more projects in mind, and as soon as we have saved the funds, we have no question who will be back to do it for us. In the meantime, Cristofir is the only one we recommend to friends who need any of this kind of work.
Cristofir has returned for two more projects (total of 4, now). Cristofir now has become almost a member of the family, returning, it seems, for another major remodeling project at least every year. He undertook a huge remodeling project for our 1954 family/guest bathroom. The work once completed was better than we ever could have imagined. In fact our local newspaper featured it in their home improvement magazine. I think pictures have been posted. We get oohs and aaahs from everyone who visits and we are very proud to have guests using it. Few would notice the superb quality of the work, but every line is perfectly plumb and level and the details (if you know where to look) are phenomenal. Cristofir works to his own standard, unlike any worker we have ever had, and even work which will never be seen or noticed is top quality. Our next project was a substantial hallway and closet remodel which turned a very old, tired part of the house into something truly elegant, which we try not to show off. The closet space now has at least triple the usual space and is truly a pleasure to use.

We bought an old (c. 1900) home in which previous owners had altered many of the large doorways between foyer, living room, dining room, etc., and in the process had replaced the door casings with very plain and unattractive trim. Cristofir removed this and replaced it with custom-made trim which he matched as closely as possible to the original style that remains around the windows and some other doors (he also incorporated some existing plinth blocks from a no longer existing doorway upstairs). The results are wonderful, and the rooms now look significantly better. Others certainly gave lower estimates, but I'm confident that in terms of quality and as an investment in the house the work that Cristofir did is absolutely worth it. He is also very nice to work with, he's very knowledgeable, very flexible, and very professional.

What a great experience! Cristofir responded quickly to my request for a quote. He is patient with questions, punctual, courteous, friendly, does excellent work and all for a fair price. I would also describe him as meticulous in manner and work ethic. Just one glance in the back of his work trailer reveals how he operates. I will definitely consider using his services again. We loved working with Cristofir. We presented him with some sketches of what we wanted along with one magazine photo for him to work from. Because this was an old house, nothing was level or square. He was working with many challenges. He did a great job of coming up with solutions to the challenges and finding products and procedures that would result in the giving us a finished product that matched my "vision".
When it came to updating our built-in bookcase he did a great job. It looks modern and fresh now. Again, he worked only from my "vision", through my descriptions and suggestions of the finished product.
There is much to recommend about Cristofir Bradley. He is a craftsman and has a great eye for detail, he is meticulous, he always arrives when he is scheduled, he is an excellent communicator and he carefully listens to his customer.
We couldn't be happier with the finished product. He did an excellent job.
As an aside, we are a non-smoking family and appreciated that Cristofir is also an non-smoker. Hence, neither he nor his supplies/materials smelled of smoke.

I am very pleased with the work he did, the cabinet fits the space perfectly, it's attractive, the quality is excellent and the cabinet is incredibly sturdy and well built. Cristofir was very patient and after finally deciding on the most work intensive option he did it and it looks wonderful. I must stress that I don't believe too many carpenters would be so patient and exacting as he is and we love the work. Our first experience with Cris was extremely positive. He is always very personable, professional and creative. His work area was always spotless before we had the opportunity to see the work. We had a problem with a pocket door. He gave us a very reasonable estimate which we found quite acceptable. The work was extremely good and left the door much better than it was originally. Because our experience with him was so positive, we commissioned Cristofir to build a custom bathroom cabinet. The quality of the work was really great--much better than anything we could have purchased anywhere, and it was custom-designed for the space and workflow needed. It is the most beautiful piece in our bathroom, functions wonderfully, and we enjoy it every day. I have no doubt it will last much longer than we. We continue to look for another opportunity to engage Cristofir and will as soon as we can.

Cristofir Bradley was hired to redo the job. He arrived exactly on time every day, cleaned up after himself every day, was able to salvage most of the trim and did an outstanding job. Our house is nearly 100 years old and has uneven/out of square everything. Cristofir was able to adjust to the special requirements and provide very clean joints. This is the best service of any type that we have experienced since moving to Memphis. We highly recommend Cristofir.

Each time I have called Mr. Bradley I am impressed by his demeanor, having had several bad experiences he is a breath of fresh air. He arrives within days of each call to go over our needs and discuss the best possible solutions. He takes as much time as is needed to listen to our ideas. He does the appropriate measurements, gets information of supplies and gives us an estimate within one day of the visit. He does his work in an orderly way and we trust him enough to leave him in our home alone while he works. We've only ever had amazing results.
Description of work:
I have used this man for a number of projects throughout our house, the most recent being a shelving system in our closet. We've also had several pieces of furniture (cabinets and custom dog crates) made by Mr. Bradley. This last project was a basic shelf system to help us organize our closet a bit. He is so very professional, clean cut and courteous. His work is impeccable and he is incredibly fastidious. The cabinets he's built and installed for us are unsurpassed, everyone who sees them comments on how beautiful they are and how much they've improved the overall look of our kitchen. I cannot recommend him enough!!! And he loves our dogs!!
